Everybody has to be informed about the new project, its aims, the plans to achieve those aims, and just about everything about the whole endeavor.

A project outline has to be created as well and everything that pertains to the project should be included in that outline. These include people, processes, budget, the whole works. Thus, it is important to identify the goals of the project before the outline is created. This way, the process of creating the outline is aptly guided.

Project metrics are indeed necessary if you want to see your new project come out successful. Take time to incorporate these metrics and you will surely have a worthwhile project in your hands.
