Any company, especially a prosperous one, should take into consideration a great number of factors that may influence its profitability. One of such factors is the HR evaluation or, in other words, the assessment of the company's human resources. This aspect shouldn't be underestimated while it is really important for the company's development and objectives it pursues. It is not a surprise that the economic situation nowadays is quite unstable and unpredictable. The recent financial crisis influenced practically all the companies, both small and the powerful ones, and its negative effects will be apparent for a long period of time. The number of companies that went bankrupt is really astonishing and those companies that were lucky to withstand serious competition and the financial crisis in general, still suffered substantially from it and will require much time in order to improve their financial situation and strengthen its positions at the market. In this respect, the conduction of the efficient HR policy seems to be a truly substantial factor, because human resources have a great value for any company, which undergoes tough financial times and is struggling for survival. The importance of using the Balanced Scorecard is really easy to explain. The thing is that the successful human resources management has to be organized correctly in order to bring profit to the company. With this purpose practically all the companies spend millions of dollars each year and obviously they want the HR management to be effective. They invest this money in advertising, the employees' and the human resources agents' salaries and into the very complicated process of hiring new people. All in all, in case the hired person is unsatisfied with something and decides to quit for some reasons, the company suffers financially from this decision. That is why the usage of the Balanced Scorecard is considered to be the effective tool in the company's human resources management. Balanced Scorecard adds to the company's profitability in different ways. It doesn't only help to evaluate the current company's human resources performance, but it is really effective in working out human resources management strategies. One of the main benefits of the Balanced Scorecard is its ability to put the worked out strategies into action. This point shouldn't be overlooked, while many strategies remain undeveloped and inefficient if the company doesn't apply the Balanced Scorecard. Moreover, in order to become ultimately effective, the Balanced Scorecard should be primarily used in the company's human resources department, because this department is responsible for the personnel hiring, training and keeping. All the above mentioned facts should be taken into consideration by the managers of any company, which sets the objective to strengthen its positions at the market and to become really profitable. HR management is to be given due attention as inefficient policy in regard to personnel working for a company may have rather negative consequences for company performance in general. Besides, fund allocated to HR must be effectively used to the benefit of company owners and shareholders.
