Moreover, the files would be compressed; meaning, storage would not be a problem since the backup files are compressed before they are stored onto your system. This is one huge advantage on your part. With mirror backup though, the files are not compressed. That is the only difference between the two methods that make better options when you are dealing with not too much data every single workday.

Incremental Backup

Incremental backup, on the other hand, is the better option when your company deals with a lot of data every day. This is a method that consumes less time as well. First of all, you conduct a full backup of your files on a certain weeknight, say, Wednesday. Then, you conduct an incremental backup on another weeknight, say, Friday. What happens here is that only the files that have been modified between Wednesday and Friday would be processed for backups. Other methods would have to process untouched files during the backing up process, which takes time since they would have to inspect every single file in your system.
