At the present time, it will be odd if we turn on the TV and tune in to a show where there are no commercials. However, these advertisements are not just something that is shown on the television. There are things that are needed to be checked and be done before it is displayed for the whole world to watch. It is easy to say that doing such is something that is not simple at all. Nevertheless, when everything is accomplished, a company can benefit from a wider audience and be able to aim more appropriately to their target market. The advertisements shown on TV are considered to be one of the most popular means of campaigns of promotions.

With competition getting tougher, there is a need to be careful with the planning and execution of TV commercial advertising. As time goes by though, it is expected that the budget for commercials on TV will decline up to five percent. Based from the reports associated with TV commercial analysis, from 2008's $69.8 billion dollars, this year it will go down to $66.9 billion. More experts are saying that there will be more companies that will concentrate on online ad campaigns. However, we cannot deny the fact that television ads have more impact on the people.

TV ads ratios are relevant when it comes to television statistics. According to surveys, an average American will allot four hours to watch TV every single day. This means 28 hours per week or two months of watching TV without stopping in a single year. In this regard, a 65 year old individual has spent 9 years of his life watching television. Going back to TV ads ratios, this is a term that refers to the percentage of advertisements as seen on the tube. As we all know, commercials play a huge role in people's lives. Many are greatly affected by them because of their tremendous impact on people especially the younger ones.

Even though it is known that the advertisements on TV can be quite advantageous for a company, reports stated that only 54% of organizations have their own commercials. They may have varied reasons for this choice but more than half of them have claimed that they are not prepared for the money that they need to provide for their promotions alone. It is said that in the year 1993, companies spent about 15 billion dollars for their commercials alone. With 99% of households in America that has a television set, these ads can indeed have a great force on the people that watch them.

It is undeniable that television has a big influence on the people. For several decades now, this has been the leading entertainment system for persons at home. However, not all the influences are good for everyone. This is why there is a need for companies to develop a good method of reaching out to the public when it comes to their advertisements. Proper planning and strategizing can help so that they can eventually implement good commercials for the public viewers.
