Your goals may vary from one company to another but there are common objectives such as to monitor and to control the performance of the business processes, to achieve business alignment on all the goals of the organization with operational processes and to drive improvements.

To start creating the lean balanced scorecard, you will need to learn about the top components that make up the lean BSC. There are two portions of the system which are strategic and operational. In strategic, you will need to come up with the original form of the balanced scorecard as well as the goal, the question and the metric. When it comes to the operational part, you will need to provide the quantitative process modeling and the format of lean manufacturing. Understand that the lean balanced scorecard will aid you in linking your strategy and the needs of the customers and also give you the information about the measurements based upon the strategies of the business in an ideal way. This will allow you to evaluate the performance of your company and the processes better.
