Easily Approve Draft Changes for Your Microsoft Word Document |

When editing a very important document, most of the time, you will need other people's help. They are the ones who will aid you in fixing the errors and even add information that they think will help you have a successful article or book. However, there will be times when you do not want to approve draft changes since some of the parts are not really included in your subject. This is why you need to review them first before you accept them. When you are using Microsoft Word, you can easily keep track of the changes and therefore it will be much simpler for you to reject and approve draft changes you have made or by someone else. If you are a writer, you should know that there is great value in having other people check your work. They are the ones who will read the draft, observe it, make suggestions and even raise questions. These are all helpful in refining the document that you are trying to accomplish. In the end, you will have an organized, clear and carefully worded article or book. With Word, you allow other people to revise and edit your work without affecting the original document. This means that it is still up to you whether you would like to accept draft modifications or discard them. With the Track Changes option, you can do this quite easily. You give them the power to open the file, read it and make changes that they think are necessary. However, in the end, you are still the one who will decide whether you should keep such alterations or not. If it is your first time to use this option, take note that it is better that you have a completed draft instead of the one that is still under process. There are several different ways that will allow you to start tracking the document. The easiest method however is to right click on the gray box at the bottom of the document that has the letters TRK. Choose Track Changes from the selection. The Reviewing toolbar will now appear at the top of your file. Verify that the highlighted button that is located second from the right is selected so that all the modifications that have been made will be displayed. Now that it is turned on, when you open a document that has been edited by other people, you can easily discern which among the parts have been modified. This is the time when you will review draft modifications so that you can give way for the approval of the document. Since the function is turned on, you will see that there are markups on your document. To eliminate them, you will have to either reject or approve draft changes. This can be done with the use of the Reviewing toolbar. There are two buttons in the toolbar which will allow you to navigate from one change to another. Then form there, you can select whether you will accept them or not. Click on the check mark to accept and the X mark to reject.
