This article will give you techniques on how to do it. Check additional information about Compare English files. If you want to compare English files, you will find that there are a few methods that you can choose from. Most of us make use of Microsoft Word or other similar word processors when we create documents that are in English. To make a comparison here, the first method is to open the original document as well as the other document that you want to compare it with. Then you can click on the Window menu. From the list, you can choose the option that says "Arrange All." This will arrange the windows that are open horizontally. Your other option is to click on "Compare Side by Side with." This will arrange the window vertically. This can be very useful since when you move the slider on any document down, the other one will move long with it. Another option is to use the feature that is presented by Word in order for the users to compare two versions of the English document. This feature also allows people to merge the changes that have been made in the documents so that you can have another document. You can accept those modifications or you can also reject them if you think that they are not appropriate. Even though this is something that is kind of easy, it is important that you check the order or the sequence of the documents so that Word will be able to evaluate the files in correct arrangement. Also another method that will let you compare two or more documents is when you can make use of an external tool that can help you compare the files. There are lots of them that are available today so make sure that you choose wisely and do not only focus on those that are free of charge. These tools can be very useful but they have limitations as well. Most of them usually work with ASCII files only. Therefore, what you have to do is to convert those files into ASCII first. Make sure that you have a copy of the original document even if you already made an ASCII file that is equivalent to it. This way, you will not lose it when you have made a mistake with the conversion. In order to convert the file to ASCII, you will have to click on File and then Save As or alternatively, you can just press F12. In the "Save as Type" box, select "Text Only with Line Breaks." This will now change the .doc file to .txt. After that, you can now compare the documents but ensure that you have already converted all of the files that you will need to compare. Take note that you will not be able to retain the quality of the document because you have already changed the format of the files. Therefore, use this at your own risk and bear in mind that this is only applicable for those who only want to see the differences between the files or the documents.
