Then of course, you press the DELETE key. You can also use the SHIFT key with your mouse. Just hold SHIFT and then click on the beginning or the end of the text. Make sure that the cursor is placed at the part where you would like to select.

To replace multi-line text in different files, you will have to consider the type of text that you would like to substitute. For example, you would like to change HTML div tags. Most people will think that they have to deal with this by hand. This means that they have to go over hundreds or even thousands of web pages just to replace them. The problem actually here is that you will have to replace multiple lines and not just one line. Usually, the content may not be the same at all.
